Established in June 2023, Round House Consulting is a family-run, veteran-owned partnership led by Guy and Lucinda. We built this business on a straightforward belief: senior leaders don't need another agency — they need a partner they can call when it genuinely matters.

Meet Our Team
Guy Denison-Smith: Co-Founder and Director — Executive Search & Mentoring
Most advisers operate on theory. Guy's counsel is built on decades of high-stakes execution.
Over 26 years as a British Army infantry officer, Guy commanded on operational tours in Northern Ireland, Bosnia, and Afghanistan. He later instructed leadership at the Infantry Training Centre Wales, the Land Warfare Centre, and the Kuwait Staff College, and served as military adviser to the UK Ambassador to the United Nations.
In 2017, Guy brought that discipline to the private sector as Chief of Staff to a UHNW family office in London — one of the most trust-dependent roles that exists. He subsequently founded Blue Ice Wine UK Ltd and co-founded Universal Recruitment and Interim Solutions, before establishing Round House Consulting with his wife Lucinda in 2023.
Today, Guy leads Executive Search and Mentoring at Round House. He holds an MA in Defence Studies from Cranfield University, is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, and holds ILM Level 3 accreditations in Business Mentoring and in Effective Coaching & Mentoring.
Outside client work, Guy's leadership continues in the wild. As joint expedition leader of the Yukon 700, he guides wounded veterans on an annual 750km unsupported canoe journey along the Yukon River in Northwest Canada. The expeditions have raised approximately £170,000 since 2022, with plans running through to 2026.
He also serves as Non-Executive Director of the Forces Pension Society, President of the Grenadier Guards Association, Trustee of the Grenadier Guards Charity, a member of the Steering Committee of the Colonel's Fund Grenadier Guards, and is appointed to His Majesty's Bodyguard of the Royal Corps of Gentlemen at Arms.
Lucinda Denison-Smith: Co-Founder and Director - Executive Support
Lucinda leads the Executive Support practice at Round House Consulting, bringing more than two decades of experience as a qualified personal assistant and secretary across property, fundraising, marketing, and executive search — including serving as PA to the Chairman of an executive search firm.
Her career took a defining turn through her family's military commitments. Rather than stepping back, Lucinda turned adaptability into her core specialism, building one of her greatest professional strengths: the ability to deliver discreet, high-trust executive support entirely remotely — long before virtual working became the norm. Since 2004, she has provided dedicated support to a rural development consultant in the renewables sector, maintaining seamless continuity through international postings in the US and Kuwait.
Her client portfolio spans authors, medical professionals, and founder-led businesses, working across both ongoing monthly partnerships and discreet one-off projects. That breadth gives her something most virtual assistants don't have: the ability to step into almost any environment, understand the context quickly, and provide the behind-the-scenes leverage that protects a leader's time and keeps their priorities moving. Whatever the context, clients work directly with Lucinda — never handed off, always personal.
Outside the business, Lucinda shares a busy rural life with Guy, their three sons, and three dogs.
