Role:

Candidate requires a specialized set of skills that blend cybersecurity expertise with an

understanding of transformational programs, military operations, strategic defense, and national security concerns.

Advanced Technical expertise required to advise on the following areas:

• Network Defense and Security

• Advanced Threat Hunting

• Military grade encryption and cryptography

• Incident Response, cyber espionage and post-attack forensic investigations.

• Cyber operations tool such as Cyber Command’s Unified Platform or Joint Cyber Command

and Control (JCC2)

• SCADA and Critical Infrastructure Protection: Expertise in protecting critical military

infrastructure (e.g., power grids, defense facilities) from cyber threats.

• Cyber Threat Intelligence to gather and analyze intelligence on global cyber threats, including

adversaries’ capabilities, tactics, and strategies.

• Strong communication skills to brief high-ranking military officials, policymakers, and government leaders on cybersecurity risks, operations, and recommendations.

• Deep understanding of military and government cybersecurity standards, including DISA STIGs, NIST 800-171, and DoD cybersecurity directives.

• Ability to train and advise military personnel on cybersecurity best practices, threat landscapes, and emerging technologies.

• Experience at a senior level of designing, leading and implementing change management/defence reform programmes.

Role:

• A Subject Matter Expert with experience (more than 20 years) in facilities management, facilities

planning, facilities O&M, technical services, land management, engineering services (such as

preliminary design), inspection, standards, costing, and sustainment) restoration, modernization planning, utilities, infrastructure, network services.

• Must coordinate closely with the Force Installation Management Commands.

• Must be willing to undergo security vetting for SC level clearance, if not already held.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Broad, recent experience of the UK MOD and it’s operating model.

 Job Context. The Programme Manager will lead and oversee the transformation of the National Training Centre (NTC) for the UAE Ministry of Defence (MOD). This role is responsible for managing the NTC programme lifecycle (not the overall programme which will include infrastructure build etc) from scope to execution, ensuring that all project milestones are met within budget and time constraints. c. Collective Training: Must have Collective Training experience as a participant and, ideally, as a planner at FLC HQ or benchmark MOD / DOD or provider (NTC / BATUS).

d. Region: Ideally have worked in GCC before (in uniform or as a civilian).

e. Industry Experience. Min 10 years. 

8. Education. Ideally Engr or Science first degree, but experience and rank could be used in lieu. Military personnel must have attended senior staff training. Masters’ Degree is a bonus. 

9. Language. The primary working language for reading, writing and speaking is English. Candidates without sufficient English will not be selected. Arabic is a bonus.
