Project Director - Construction Industry

Senior Project Manager - Construction Industry

Senior Project Manager - Construction Industry

Relevant experience is essential.

Round House Consulting is supporting a high-performing contractor delivering large-scale industrial projects across the UK and Europe.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to take control of major new build projects across sectors such as data centres, pharmaceuticals, and logistics. This is a site-led role with full responsibility for programme delivery, team performance, and day-to-day execution.

You will be operating in a fast-moving environment where programmes are compressed, trades are run in parallel, and delivery is driven by decisive leadership.

This is not a role for someone who needs direction. It is for someone who takes ownership and delivers.

The Role

· You will lead the delivery of a high-value construction project from early design coordination through to completion and handover.

· You will manage multiple workstreams across civils, structural, and MEP packages, ensuring alignment and continuity across all stages.

· You will drive programme performance on site, maintaining pace, resolving issues early, and ensuring milestones are consistently achieved.

· You will lead site teams and subcontractors, holding standards across safety, quality, and delivery.

· You will act as the key link between client, consultants, and delivery teams, ensuring clear communication and control throughout.

What We’re Looking For

· Proven experience delivering large-scale industrial or mission-critical construction projects.

· Strong background in fast-track or high-pressure build environments.

· Confident leadership style with the ability to manage teams and challenge where required.

· Clear understanding of programme management, sequencing, and delivery under tight timelines.

· Track record of delivering projects to programme and standard.

The Environment

· This is a demanding delivery environment where expectations are clear and performance matters.

· You will be trusted to take ownership, make decisions, and keep projects moving without delay.

· The pace is high, accountability is real, and the standard is set by those who consistently deliver.

· For the right individual, this offers strong financial reward, exposure to major projects, and a clear route into senior leadership roles.

Remuneration & Benefits

£140,000 – £160,000 + Full Package

Relevant experience is essential.
